As The Esther School (TES) prepares to celebrate its first graduating class, the grade twelve students stand as powerful testaments to what God is doing in this community. Their growth reflects what God can do when students, their families, staff, and sponsors like you partner together. As a sponsor, you provide pivotal opportunities for success - school supplies, daily meals, letters of encouragement, and, above all, prayers. Your support sends a clear message to students: you believe in them.

One student graduating at the end of the year is Sarah*. Over the years, she has learned a lot, but it was science that sparked her curiosity. Inspired by her passions and encouraged by those around her, she developed an interest in nursing in grade ten. Like Sarah, many of her classmates have dreams for their futures. Some hope to be teachers, accountants, soldiers, or police officers. Each student in grade twelve has a passion that is motivated by the environment of learning and faith at TES.
Through your partnership, students like Sarah are learning fundamental skills. They build a foundation in subjects such as mathematics, reading, writing, and the Bible - building blocks for lifelong learning! Throughout their education, they write their names, add and multiply, plant gardens, study Zambian history and geography, explore scientific theories and business, and discover God's work and plans for the world. At TES, all students learn to thrive on whatever path they choose.
However, growth at TES goes far beyond textbooks and homework. Students develop emotional, social, and spiritual strength. They grow in confidence, develop leadership and character, and deepen their faith. Teachers welcome students into loving classrooms, support them through learning and personal challenges, and continuously remind them of their worth as children of God. Through careful lessons, students learn that God has given people unique emotions and how to navigate life's ups and downs with hope, resilience, and grace.
Christ-like values and servant leadership are at the heart of TES. During discipleship groups and devotions, students learn from their teachers and share personal life lessons with classmates. Along with worship, prayer, and chapel messages, students in all grades develop a closer relationship with God. Through your support, God is raising future servant leaders who will serve their community with respect and integrity.
As we prepare for the upcoming milestone, we are thankful for the path that God has led us through. Years of learning, growing, and praying have made a big difference in the lives of the graduating students. With the partnership of students, their families, and sponsors like you, these young leaders are ready not only for careers but also for meaningful lives guided by purpose and faith.
We are excited about God's plans for the Class of 2025 and all students who will follow in their footsteps!
