Leslie has been on staff at The Esther School since 2017. Beginning as a classroom teacher, she used her training to partner with Zambian teachers to bring solid educational practices to the classroom. Over time, she has moved into an administrative role. She now works alongside the Head Teacher to select curriculum, assure consistently between grade levels, and help carry out the overall academic vision of The Esther School. Leslie is full of joy. She has a strong work ethic and serves with integrity. She is a significant blessing in her leadership role on campus.

Melinda has been on staff at The Esther School since 2019.  Beginning as a classroom teacher in both Grades 1 and 3, she partnered with Zambian teachers to bring academic excellence to the classrooms.  Working now as a reading specialist, she individually meets students where they are in order to ensure they reach their full learning potential. Her ways of uniquely encouraging each student helps her to individually connect with and foster growth in each one of her students.

Rachel has been on staff at The Esther School since 2012. Beginning first as a classroom teacher, over the years Rachel has held various roles and has used her many talents to support teachers, teach students, and be a leader on campus. Her passion for God’s Word and ensuring the campus of The Esther School is a place of refuge and spiritual growth for all has been foundational in her current role as she leads her team and blesses students. Rachel’s heart for worship and humble spirit impact all she does and who she comes in contact with.

Drew began working at The Esther School when he and his family moved to Zambia in 2012 to help start the school. After two years, he returned to the U.S. and a role in corporate finance. In 2019, Drew returned to The Esther School as the Executive Director. Since then, he and his family have shared time in both Zambia and the U.S.. In his role he oversees academics, operations, Zambian and North American staff, fundraising, and overall management of the organization. Drew’s dedication to following where the Lord leads, his passion for the people of Zambia, and his love of the work that he does continues to direct him in his leadership role.

Isaac has been on staff at The Esther School since 2017.  Find a group of students gathered on campus, and one usually finds Isaac among them. He is known for his passion for the people of Nyangwena. From students to parents to teachers to the operations staff, he is involved in all facets of The Esther School and the surrounding community, and he uses his gifts of photography and writing to capture and share all that God is doing on campus. We are so grateful for his faithful and humble way of serving.

Tucoma has been on staff at The Esther School since 2019.  Trained as an electrician, Tucoma has a varied skill set that is valuable all over campus. This, coupled with her servant heart, has Tucoma a part of various maintenance and facilities projects on campus, as well as working with the team on sustainability initiatives. Tucoma always has something positive to say and a smile to encourage others. She is a blessing to all.
